Lauren began her journey with massage in 2015 following a transformative trip to Indonesia in the aftermath of a significant sports injury. Seeking to deepen her understanding of bodywork, she ventured back to Asia in 2018, immersing herself in studies across Thailand, Bali, Singapore, and Malaysia. Lauren's massage focuses on calming the nervous system and incorporates conscious breathwork, fluid, integrative strokes, broad compressions, myofascial tractioning, and assisted stretching. Lauren employs a deliberately slow technique in order to find the most thoroughly effective points of engagement, while inviting clients to relax and breathe deeply into their experience.

Megan wanted to be a massage therapist since childhood. After getting an MFA, she finally took the plunge enrolling in massage school and she's never looked back. Megan loves helping her clients find ease; after your session you are likely to feel equal parts relaxed and revitalized. Her first love is Thai massage, which means if you're looking for a good stretch and active, fast-paced work- she's got you. Abbey's massage motto is give it weight and wait. She uses slow, deep compression to give a therapeutic experience without sacrificing relaxation. Deep, deep, deep! Becca has weight-lifter strength that she uses to push through knotted, dense tissue. As both a yoga instructor and an LMT, Becca brings the same mindfulness that she cultivates in each of her yoga classes into her massage sessions. With a talent for finding sneaky areas of tension, she gives extra attention to problem areas while balancing the rest of the body out with proper work. Becca has trained as a labor and post-partum doula (though she is not a practicing doula now!). She has advanced training in prenatal and post partum massage, so she's the most knowledgeable person you could see for massage during (and after) your pregnancy!

Sparkles has focused the majority of her career on injury and treatment work and medical massage. She is skilled at working with headaches, migraines, sciatic pain, joint and limb issues, and scar work, but also enjoys pregnancy and relaxation massage. After becoming certified in 2002, she worked with the community at Seattle AIDS Support Group and Rosehedge House providing massage to those affected by HIV and AIDS, as well as at Jubilee House providing massage to women in transitional housing. In 2008, Sparkles expanded her repertoire to include an advanced certification of Ashiatsu Oriental Bar Therapy. She is one of those therapists we can confidently recommend to any client for anything!

This is Lindsay! We like to say that she takes care of everything aside from the actual massaging people part of the business. You might recognize her from speaking with her on the phone or seeing her scurry around our offices. Ashley is a visual artist by trade, but has more than a decade of nonprofit/business administration experience under her belt. She is new to the massage therapy industry, but dedicates herself to providing administrative and logistical support to the Mantis staff so that they can do what they do best: relieve your stress!
